Terms of sale
This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Italian version of this document prevails.
1. Who is selling
Sales made through the website laserbend3d.it are concluded with Scarpati & Ruggiero S.r.l., registered office Via Terragneta, 40 — 80058 Torre Annunziata (NA), Italy, VAT no. 2. Subject
The site sells custom sheet metal and metal processing (laser cutting, bending, punching, shearing, turning) carried out on the basis of the file or dimensions provided by the customer. Each part is produced specifically for the individual order.
3. Prices
The price shown by the quote calculator is calculated automatically from the uploaded file or dimensions and includes 22% Italian VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately in the cart before payment, together with any surcharges (oversized parts, remote areas). The price you pay is final: you will not be asked for any additional payment afterwards.
4. Order and payment
Payment is made in a single instalment for the full amount, through the secure Stripe platform: card details never pass through or are stored on our systems. Alternatively you can choose bank transfer: after you confirm the order we show you the IBAN, amount and payment reference (we also email them to you), and the order is confirmed once the transfer has been credited to our account (usually 1–2 working days). The contract is concluded when payment is received: at that point you receive a confirmation email with the order summary. An electronic invoice is issued for every order using the details entered at checkout.
5. Technical review of the file
After payment, every file is checked by our technical office before production. If the part cannot be made as drawn (for example geometries that cannot be cut or are incompatible with the chosen thickness), we contact you: you can send a corrected file or cancel the order, in which case we refund the full amount paid to the same payment method.
The customer is responsible for the correctness of the measurements, dimensions and geometries contained in the file: parts are made faithfully to the drawing received.
6. Production and delivery times
Times depend on the option chosen when ordering and run from receipt of payment (for bank transfers, from the arrival of the funds):
- Standard: 10-15 working days
- Express: 7-10 working days
- Economy: 30 working days
As an alternative to shipping, you can choose free collection at our premises in the cart (Via Terragneta, 40 — 80058 Torre Annunziata (NA), Italy, Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM): we let you know when the order is ready for collection.
Shipping is by courier to the address given in the cart. On receipt, check that the packaging is intact: in case of visible damage, accept the goods "with reservation" and write to us within 8 days, attaching photos.
7. Right of withdrawal
Since the parts are made to measure according to the customer's specifications, pursuant to Art. 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), implementing Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to orders placed on the site. You can still cancel the order free of charge, with a full refund, as long as production has not started: write to us at scarpati@scarpati.eu as soon as possible.
8. Warranty and non-conforming parts
If you receive parts that do not conform to the file you sent or are defective, contact us with photos and your order number: after checking, we remake the parts at our expense or refund you.
For consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code applies. For customers buying with a VAT number, Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code apply: defects must be reported within 8 days of discovery.
9. Refunds
Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the order. You receive a confirmation email as soon as the refund is issued; crediting times depend on your bank (usually 5–10 working days).
10. File confidentiality and personal data
Uploaded files are used only to make your order: see File confidentiality. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the consumer's country of residence. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction. For disputes with customers buying with a VAT number, the Court of Torre Annunziata (Italy) has exclusive jurisdiction.
