CAD design

Mechanical design and CAD drawing

From concept, even a simple paper sketch, to a production-ready file: feasibility study and on-site measurement for the more complex parts.

Step 1

Tell us about your project

Describe your idea, even with a simple paper sketch or the measurements of an existing part to reproduce.

Step 2

Feasibility study

We assess manufacturability and, for the more complex parts, carry out an on-site measurement survey.

Step 3

Production-ready file

A CAD drawing ready for laser cutting, bending and other processes, with no intermediate steps.

CAD drawing of a mechanical component

From sketch to production-ready file

You don't need to start from a finished CAD file

We draw up the technical drawing ourselves, starting from an idea, a paper sketch or an existing part to reproduce.

The resulting file is ready for the next processes — laser cutting, bending, welding — with the same point of contact following the project through to delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions

What's the minimum order?

None: we work on even a single piece, with no minimum order quantity.

Which files can I upload for a quote?

DXF and STEP files get an automatic quote, up to 10 MB. For bending you upload the DXF of the flat pattern together with the STEP of the bent part. IGES files aren't read automatically: we review them and send you a quote. Shearing (rectangles and squares) needs no file, just the dimensions.

How long does a quote take?

For laser cutting, punching, bending, turning and shearing the quote is instant: it updates online as soon as you upload the file (or enter the dimensions) and choose material and quantity. For the other processes (milling, design, welding, coating) we reply with a custom assessment after receiving your request.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship across Italy and to European Union countries. Shipping depends on the total order weight and on the destination country, and is calculated in the cart before you pay. There are two surcharges: one for parts longer than 2 metres and one for remote locations (minor islands, isolated mountain or lagoon areas), which we recognise from the postcode.

Can I collect my order at your premises?

Yes, free of charge: choose "Free collection at our premises" in the cart and you pay no shipping. You collect in Torre Annunziata (NA), Italy, at Via Terragneta 40, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00. We let you know when the order is ready.

What are the delivery times?

You choose in the quote: Standard 10-15 working days, Express 7-10 working days (+15%) or Economy 30 working days (-30%). Times start from when we receive your payment.

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card on the secure Stripe page, or by bank transfer: after you confirm the order we show you the IBAN, amount and payment reference and also email them to you. With a bank transfer, production starts when the funds arrive.

Is the quoted price final?

Yes: the price shown, VAT included, is what you pay, plus the shipping shown in the cart. After the order our technical office checks every file: if the part can't be made as drawn we contact you, and you can send a corrected file or cancel the order for a full refund.

Do you issue invoices?

Yes, we issue an electronic invoice for every order using the details entered at purchase. Businesses provide their VAT number (and, for Italian companies, PEC or SDI code); private customers provide their tax code.

What materials do you work with?

We work with mild steel and stainless steel AISI 304 and 316, plus the other materials available in the online calculator for cutting, bending and other processes.
